The Rimfire Report: Smith & Wesson FPC 22LR First Impressions

Hey there, gun enthusiasts! Welcome back to The Rimfire Report, where we dive deep into the world of rimfire firearms. Today, I’m stoked to share my hands-on experience with the brand-spankin’ new M&P FPC 22LR, courtesy of Smith & Wesson. I got to play with this beauty at their swanky Maryville, TN facility and the Windrock Shooting Range and Training Center during a media event this summer. We tested a bunch of Smith’s latest and greatest, plus some sweet historical pieces from firearms historian Michael Helms’ personal collection. But the M&P FPC 22LR really caught my eye, especially since it’s the rimfire version of the controversial M&P FPC 9mm. This little gem is perfect for those of you who love to pack a “backpack” gun for hikes, property checks, or camping trips. Stick around as I break down what I’ve learned from putting the first 1,000 rounds through this bad boy. Let’s get started!
