TFB Review: SIG P211 – 5,000 Rounds Later

Yo, listen up, gun enthusiasts! I’ve been slinging 2011s like a boss for ages, from the classic STI to the wild Platypus and the slick Staccato HDs. But let’s be real, the Achilles’ heel of these bad boys has always been the magazines. They’re pricier than a fancy steak dinner, and since they were originally designed for 45 ACP, they make the grip bigger than a sumo wrestler’s belly. Plus, they’re more likely to jam up with dust and debris than a vacuum cleaner on the fritz. But fear not, my fellow shooters! The market’s been flooded with new 2011s that keep the awesome ergonomics and trigger while using cheaper, more reliable mags. And guess what? SIG Sauer finally decided to join the party with their P211. Took ’em long enough, but better late than never, right?
