In a significant move towards modernizing its military capabilities, the Austrian Armed Forces have introduced the Steyr AUG 77A1 MOD “Nightfighter” into their arsenal. Unveiled during the “Tag der Offenen Tür” (Open House Day) at the Liechtenstein Barracks in Allentsteig, the rifle is part of the broader “Mission Vorwärts” (“Mission Forward”) initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Defense.
