Mars Inc. is one of two companies which the US Army have selected as finalists for the Precision Grenadier System competition. PGS seeks to engage targets at ranges from 35 to 500+ meters using a variety of grenades including a Counter Defilade (behind cover) round, a Close Quarters Battle round (the SSRs’ is similar to a shotgun round) a counter UAS (drone) round and an Armor-Piercing round.
