A couple of years ago, we reported about the new Indra rifle developed by an Indian company called Astr Defence. Besides that rifle, Astr Defence makes an entire family of semi-auto pistols that they sell in the local market. The Phantom is the latest addition to their handgun line. Like most of the other pistols in the company’s catalog, the Phantom is also chambered in .32 ACP and the company claims that it is the first optics-ready pistol made in India or as the markings on their guns read, Born in Bharat.
