Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. has launched short-barreled rifle (SBR) variants of its PC Carbine, 10/22, and Ruger American Rifle Generation II. These compact models maintain the performance of the original platforms while being suppressor-ready and easy to handle.
The PC Carbine SBR features a 6.5-inch threaded barrel, black synthetic chassis with adjustable Magpul stock, and compatibility with SR-Series/Security-9 or Glock-pattern magazines. The 10/22 SBRs include two models: one with an 8-inch barrel and integrated cleaning port, and a Takedown version with a 10-inch barrel. The Ruger American Gen II SBR in Patrol configuration has a 12.5-inch threaded barrel in 338 ARC caliber, with more calibers forthcoming.
These NFA-regulated SBRs emphasize precision, reliability, and customizable designs. Availability is subject to federal, state, and local laws.
