Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. has launched the Scout models as the latest addition to its Ruger American Rifle Generation II lineup. Designed for versatility, the Scout features adjustable iron sights, an extended Picatinny rail for optics mounting, and a compact 16.1-inch threaded barrel with an A2-style flash hider. It includes a leaf-green stock with black textured splatter and a durable Cobalt Cerakote-finished action.
The rifle builds on the Gen II improvements, such as enhanced ergonomics, a three-position safety with stainless steel locking bolt, and a more rigid stock. Available now in .308 Win, 350 Legend, 5.56 NATO, and 7.62×39 calibers, it suits hunters and sport shooters for brush hunting and tight spaces.
