Hey there, gun enthusiasts! Colorado’s Republican lawmakers are up in arms (get it?) and are begging Governor Jared Polis to give a big ol’ veto to a new bill that’s trying to cramp their Second Amendment style. Senate Bill 003 started off wanting to ban all semi-automatic magazine-fed firearms, but then it got a bit of a makeover. Now, it’s demanding that anyone who wants to exercise their right to bear arms has to jump through hoops with a training program and sign up for what they’re calling an “illegal” gun owner registry. Talk about a buzzkill! Will Polis listen to the GOP’s pleas, or will Colorado’s gun owners be stuck with more red tape? Stay tuned to find out!
