It’s snarky, but the New Civil Liberties Alliance has named Attorney General Merrick Garland as the recipient of their King George III Prize, awarded to the “most overreaching bureaucrat.” Garland beat out second place finisher California Governor Gavin Newsome, Richard Cordray and FBI agent and “social media censor” Elvis Chan.
