TriStar Arms has announced the Viper G3, the next generation of its Viper semi-automatic shotgun series. The gas-operated shotgun is offered with a 3-inch chamber in 12, 20 and 28 gauge as well as .410 bore. It features a more robust internal system intended to cycle a wider range of loads out of the box, oversized controls, a fiber-optic front sight, vent rib with matted sight plane, chrome-lined chamber and barrel, and Beretta/Benelli Mobil-pattern choke compatibility. Stock shim kits are available on applicable models.

The lineup includes walnut, bronze Cerakote, synthetic, and several camouflage and sporting finishes, with varying stock, barrel, and pistol-grip options. Suggested retail prices range from $739 to $1,129 depending on configuration. The Viper G3 builds on the earlier Viper G2 platform as TriStar’s new flagship in the series.
