Springfield Armory has launched the Echelon Pro Comp 9mm pistol in three versions: a compact 4.0C, a 4.0FC hybrid pairing a full-size grip with a compact slide, and a full-size 4.5F. The 4.0C holds 18 plus one rounds while the other two hold 20 plus one.

The Pro Comp models retain the original Echelon serialized stainless fire-control chassis that lifts out of the grip module for easy swaps. New elements include a Badlands LightForged grip texture, a removable extended flared steel magwell, upgraded sights, a stainless guide rod, a gray Cerakote slide, and an integrally compensated Melonite barrel with a matching slide cut. Each gun ships with three extended magazines.
