A shooter tested Springfield Armory’s Model 2020 Waypoint 6.5 Creedmoor rifle at ParaBellum Shooting and Tactical Training Academy under Arizona heat. The rifle, in Evergreen carbon fiber configuration with a TriggerTech trigger, printed tight groups at 100 yards and rang steel consistently at 1,000 yards with Hornady 140-grain ELD Match loads.

An Arken Optics EPL-4 6-24×50 scope and Warne 7904M bipod completed the setup. The tester stopped short of one mile because unfavorable wind and no reliable splash or sound made hits impossible to confirm honestly.
