The Wild Sheep Foundation congratulated Dr. Ryan Brock, its Youth Education Program Coordinator, after Nevada named him Outdoor Teacher of the Year. Brock taught more than two decades at Jessie Beck Elementary School in Reno before starting part-time with the Bozeman, Montana group in 2012 and moving to full-time staff last August upon retiring from Nevada schools.

He lives in Reno and helped launch the Youth Wildlife Conservation Experience at the Sheep Show while also running year-round S.H.E.E.P. sessions in shooting, hunting and ethics that have reached over 173,600 young people, nearly 23,500 of them at the convention program since 2012.
