Vortex Optics announced the Triumph red dot sight on February 5, 2026 with a $150 manufacturer suggested retail price. The company followed on July 9, 2026 with the Crossfire II Red Dot, which uses a skeletonized riser for lower weight and longer battery life, plus a solar-powered version rated for 150000 hours.

A tan finish and green reticle option arrived for the Crossfire line on January 30, 2025. The original Crossfire launched January 1, 2018 and received an update September 26, 2019 that kept the same price while adding a CR2032 battery good for 50000 hours.

These models sit between $149.99 and $249.99 and join 15 red and green dots Vortex makes for AR-style rifles.
