The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center issued a request for information to industry earlier this week. Its C3BM Directorate at Wright Patterson Force Base in Ohio is performing market research to identify interested vendors.

The effort concerns a ground based gun of medium caliber, specifically a 20 millimeter to 50 millimeter weapon together with ammunition and sensors.
