Springfield Armory introduced the Kuna Tri-Lug 9mm pistol in August 2026 from Geneseo, Illinois. The roller-delayed personal defense weapon now includes a tri-lug muzzle so matching suppressors can go on or come off by hand with no tools. Owners can therefore change between suppressed and unsuppressed setups more quickly than before.

The pistol retains a one-piece aluminum upper, fully ambidextrous controls, and a compact, easy-to-handle layout. Federal tax stamps for silencers ended on January 1, 2026, and approvals have been arriving faster, which the company noted as context for the new mount.
