Strike Industries sells the Polymer FSA STAB as a side-folding pistol brace that clamps onto a standard 1913 Picatinny rail and occupies three slots. Fiber-reinforced polymer plus a metal mount keep the unit at 11.98 ounces, with an extended length of 8.67 inches. A push-button hinge folds the brace to the right so it stays short of the magazine well and clear of the ejection port, while a separate lever selects one of three lengths. The kit includes a T25 wrench and thread locker and carries an MSRP of 99.95 dollars.
On a 6-inch straight-pull .300 Blackout pistol that weighed 3.5 pounds before installation, the brace locked open securely and improved balance once a suppressor was added.
