Johnson Outdoors has united Minn Kota and Humminbird under a single brand called New Minn Kota, pairing Humminbird sonar and mapping with new fish finders and trolling motors so on-screen data directly drives boat movement and positioning. Humminbird technology continues as Humminbird Imaging, and owners of current XPLORE, APEX and SOLIX G3 units can add the linked functions through software updates while older Humminbird gear keeps receiving support.

Additional systems are due beginning in January, with further products planned for 2027. The company states the design aims to keep electronics powerful yet easier to operate so anglers spend more of their limited time fishing.
