Team Wendy of Cleveland announced the EXFIL Endurance on October 22, 2026, a lightweight ballistic helmet for extended wear by defense and law enforcement, reflecting Avon Protection’s 2020 Team Wendy and Ceradyne ballistic acquisitions. It satisfies NIJ III-A/HG2 under NIJ STD 0106.01/0108.01 with 17-grain V50 at or above 2400 ft/s (731 m/s), backface deformation below 25.4 mm versus 9 mm FMJ RN at 1195 ft/s (365 m/s), and ACH blunt-impact AR/PD10-02 of 16Dec’13 exceeded, using no-thru-hole shells. Mounting relies on a reinforced reverse-dovetail polycarbonate rail of low profile, NVG shroud shock cords, and tactical-operator Velcro.
