A European paints and coatings producer that buys from Svenska Aerogel has begun selling a new industrial coating made to resist fire in marine use.

Svenska Aerogel supplies aerogel that the coating employs to improve its stand against fire and help raise safety on ships.

The coating is meant for interior vessel surfaces including walls and ceilings.
