Strike Industries has launched the AR Rapid Bolt Deploy Lever, a two-screw add-on that bolts onto a standard mil-spec catch paddle so a right-handed shooter can release the bolt without reaching across the receiver.

The piece is machined from 4140 steel, weighs 0.97 ounces, and measures 2.57 inches long, 1.57 inches wide, and 0.98 inches high. A longer arm handles right-hand use while a larger grooved paddle handles the left. The kit includes a T10 L-wrench and thread locker and works with mil-spec catches plus mil-spec upper and lower receivers.

The company, formed in 2011, also makes modular rails, the Oppressor, the Mass Driver compensator, the LINK system, Viper handguards, and SMC chassis.
