Magpul has released the DT-S Carbine Stock, which retains the Dual Tension system from the 2023 DT Carbine Stock while adding a wider body containing two parallel storage tubes. Each tube uses dual O-rings for a waterproof rating to 10 meters and can hold two CR123 or AA batteries. Magpul enlarged the cheek weld area, and the stock fits only Mil-Spec carbine receiver extensions on AR-15/M4 and AR-10/SR-25/M110 platforms.

The DT-S weighs 15 ounces and measures 2.5 inches wide versus 9.8 ounces and 1.6 inches on the DT, with the same 3.3-inch length of pull but about a half-inch greater overall length of 11 to 14.3 inches on a standard M4 tube. Official price is $94.95 in Black, Flat Dark Earth and Olive Drab Green, with Modified Coyote Brown soon.
