North Dakota Game and Fish will begin issuing leftover fall wild turkey permits at 10 a.m. Central Time on September 16 through gf.nd.gov. The lottery has already concluded, with more than 750 permits still open in three units.

Anyone, resident or not, may buy them, and a hunter may hold as many as five for the season that runs from October 10 through January 3, 2027.

The leftover totals are 514 in Unit 13 (Dunn County), 252 in Unit 25 (McHenry County plus parts of Pierce and Ward counties), and 33 in Unit 45 (Stark County).
