Shooting News Weekly filmed .22 LR tests on popular squishy toys after a relative noted their appeal to adult collectors as well as children. The channel’s firearm review audience is largely adult.

A two-inch cube and a teddy-bear figure were struck with CCI Mini Mag Segmented Hollow Point ammunition, producing results the tester did not expect. Later clips raise the power of the loads used.

Projectiles of .30 caliber and above pass entirely through the toys.
