The hottest game on Steam right now is Hood Warfare 2, a $5 multiplayer shooter that plays like a low-budget Call of Duty clone set in Chicago. Rival gangs battle for turf across maps of downtown, the suburbs, “The Trenches,” and a mall. Modes include Turf War, GangBang, Hit A Lick, Destroy The Block, and Chain Snatch—where you kill someone and collect their gold chain(s). You get to call in a “Snitch” or summon the homies in an SUV for a drive-by with the music blasting.
