Tim Hoffman has released the Trigger Kicker, a $43 one-piece part of hardened 4130 steel that swaps into a standard AR-15 fire-control group in place of the disconnector and its spring, leaving the rifle with one fewer component. The device keeps the original selector and offers only safe plus active-reset positions, with no ordinary semi-automatic setting.

Installation follows the same steps as a conventional trigger and is covered by Hoffman’s video and written guide. The part requires a matching hammer profile; an incorrect hammer produced follow during testing until the proper hammer was obtained from Hoffman.
