HII Mission Technologies received a five-year task order, with the news released in McLean, Virginia on 15 September 2026. The NYSE-listed firm will study better aerial supply drops and combat feeding methods that help the U.S. Army keep soldiers supplied.

The effort also covers cargo and personnel drop systems that work with both precision-guided and conventional aerial delivery.
