Franklin Armory has started making ammunition and opened with Rabbit Rounds, a multi-projectile load built to take small game from AR-pattern rifles. The 5.56x45mm version works in guns chambered for .223 Remington, .223 Wylde, or 5.56 NATO.

Each patent-pending cartridge holds four .180-inch BB pellets that stay spin-stable inside a multi-part sabot that falls away after firing. A 20-round box carries a $67.99 suggested price, and the firm plans versions in other common hunting calibers.
