Montana officials have reopened fishing along a portion of the upper Big Hole River after stream conditions improved.
The restricted waters stretched from Saginaw Bridge, located on Skinner Meadows Road, upstream to the meeting point with the North Fork. Managers enacted the measure on August 12 owing to reduced flows and the applicable drought management rules.
Seasonal spawning restrictions remain active on additional Big Hole segments.
