Federal Ammunition has been chosen to supply .223 Remington duty rifle cartridges to police agencies in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. The agreement covers as many as 35 million rounds over seven years for officers in those countries.

The same maker was also selected to provide 5.56 NATO training ammunition formulated to reduce hazard. Those agencies apply demanding product standards when they choose ammunition for duty and training use.
