New 22 Creedmoor offerings from Federal Ammunition have joined the Fusion and American Eagle rifle catalogs and are arriving at dealers across the United States. Fusion uses a 75-grain bonded soft-point bullet; American Eagle uses a 75-grain TMJ; muzzle velocity for each is 3300 fps.
Josh Vickers, Federal centerfire rifle ammunition product manager, described the cartridge as able to drive heavier 22-caliber projectiles over 3000 fps, with the TMJ load aimed at range sessions and Fusion at hunters needing expansion and weight retention.
Twenty-round boxes are standard, and an 80-grain Sierra Tipped MatchKing load is forthcoming. Retail prices stand at $47.99 for item F22CRDFS2 and $40.99 for AE22CRD1, sold by dealers and at federalpremium.com.
