New LPVOs are always welcome, and Element Optics shows up here with their Helix HD 1-8×24. This is a new low-power variable optic built for hunting and tactical use at close to intermediate ranges. The scope joins the existing Helix HD family, which up to this point has centered on higher magnification hunting scopes like the 2-16×50 and the 2-12×42 Compact.
