Eighty-four-year-old Edwin Argroves of Meriwether County, Georgia, joined host Michael Waddell on a recent episode of the outdoor podcast presented by REMAX OUTDOORS. Argroves, a longtime trapper and relative of Waddell, described growing up in a subsistence household during World War II and developing trapping skills as a child using farm items before ordering equipment from a catalog.

He recalled selling his first mink pelt in 1949 for fifty-two dollars and later working animal control, noting how otters reduced mink numbers and coyotes displaced red foxes. Argroves shared observations on wildlife adaptation and personal lessons about greed, jealousy, and enjoying one's achievements.

The program, produced by Outdoor Sportsman Group, airs new installments every other week on platforms including YouTube and Spotify.
