Dead Air Silencers of Heber City, Utah reported that the Nomad Ti OTB received the 2026 Athlon Untamed award as top hunting suppressor. Evaluators tested five units for mass, appearance, dimensions, kick, impact shift, spread, recorded and felt noise, plus cost, and this model led the totals.

Built for current hunting rifles, it accepts cartridges through .300 RUM and 7mm Backcountry via an over-barrel blast chamber that shortens the added profile while easing pressure and muffling report. Company chief Ernie Beckwith said the prize matches the firm's aim of practical field gains.
