CZ introduced a new 9mm duty pistol named DUTY that operates with a striker. The firearm is modular so a serialized inner unit containing the trigger group can pair with different grips, barrels of various lengths, and magazines of assorted capacities.
The slide receives a nitride coating and the barrel is produced by cold hammer forging. A three-stage system prevents firing after a drop, while three-dot tritium or luminescent sights support use at night.
