Colt Canada launched the C25 Sharpshooter, a modular 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle designed to be compact yet highly accurate for squad marksmen. The gun opens the C25 series after long use of earlier C7 and C8 models by Canadian troops and their partners. Company engineers teamed with defence ministry and military personnel so soldiers can hit harder targets more quietly from the first round using ordinary 5.56 ammunition.
A special muzzle attachment cuts noise, flash and recoil while adding little overall length. Fully ambidextrous controls and a coated aluminum receiver complete the package.
