Civivi offers the Kitefin as a folding everyday-carry knife whose aluminum handle in brownish grey pairs with a reversible black pocket clip. The handle feels solid and matches the palm, gliding in and out of a pocket because of its largely untextured surface, yet it can shift in wet hands or gloves.

The drop-point Damascus blade draws the eye beside that handle but dulls after daily work on boxes, zip ties, bags, tape and straps, needing four sharpenings across three months of carry. It returns to a keen edge quickly, and coarse jimping along the spine lets fingers lock in for control.

Caged ceramic ball bearings at the pivot produce a fluid action, and the blade deploys either from a rear flipper or by pressing the lock button then flicking it open.
