Canik launched CANIK OPTICS as two families of four pistol red dots. ONYXc open-emitter micros use Shield RMSc footprints, auto-brightness, IP67 protection and up to 50,000-hour batteries for concealed pistols, and ONYX XL versions take Trijicon RMR footprints with oversized windows for competition. PHANTOMc enclosed sights use RMSc at carry size while full-size PHANTOM models take RMR footprints with solar assist plus an external light sensor and backup rear sight, and Adam Ruonala of Canik USA said customers wanted optics matching pistol standards for high-performance users generally.
