Remington has begun shipping Core-Lokt ammunition in 300 HAMR to dealers across the United States ahead of hunting season.
The Core-Lokt bullet, first made in 1939, uses a tapered copper jacket locked to a solid lead core. It expands to as much as twice the original diameter, penetrates deeply, and retains weight on impact.
The rounds are sold in 20-count boxes at a suggested retail price of 37.99 dollars.
