Beretta has introduced the APX A1 Ported as an addition to its APX A1 pistol line. The 9mm model uses factory porting that combines one angled barrel opening with seven openings in the slide to send gas upward, which lowers muzzle rise and recoil so follow-up shots come faster.

Oversized magazine releases and ambidextrous slide releases, which can be set up for either hand, allow quicker handling. The slide accepts many common pistol optics once a separate mounting plate is added, and it carries deep serrations plus an Aquatech Shield finish that resists corrosion and chemicals. The pistol ships with three magazines and is sold in FDE and OD Green for an MSRP of $629.
