Beretta has opened U.S. sales of firearms honoring its 500th anniversary as the oldest maker in the field, a firm still run by the same family after 16 generations from 1526. Authorized American dealers already carry the BRX1 500 Years Limited Edition plus the A400 500 Years Special Edition, and the 687 Silver Pigeon 500 Years Limited Edition is likewise in stock while the 694 500 Years Limited Edition is slated for late November with supplies differing by shop. Beretta USA Corp., founded in 1977, furnished the sidearm most widely used by U.S. forces.
