Tim McGraw landed on his back Thursday night at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati while performing a major 1990s hit. His boot heel lodged in a groove on a stage platform and he toppled backward with his feet raised briefly.

He posted video of the spill on Instagram in a freeze-frame meme that zooms on the stuck heel before he sits up grinning and continues the song, joking that the city launched the weekend well even though he could not remain upright. Local reporter David Wysong said McGraw reached the stage about 40 minutes late, blamed travel and weather, then stretched between numbers after the fall.

McGraw previously collapsed from dehydration at a March 2018 festival in Dublin and later posted a scuba photo with a hydration joke.
