Pulsar Launches Wildlife Sub-Brand with Thermal and Night Vision Optics for Birding and Conservation

Listen to Article

Pulsar, a manufacturer of thermal and night vision optics, has introduced Pulsar Wildlife, a sub-brand offering instruments designed for wildlife observation, avian research, and field conservation. The products use thermal imaging to detect heat signatures of animals in low-light or obscured conditions, enabling observation of roosting birds, nocturnal species, and those in dense cover without disturbance.

The lineup includes four series: Orni for rugged fieldwork, Lumion premium monoculars with upgradeable components, pocket-sized Alaris, and tripod-compatible Ventex binoculars for extended sessions. These tools support birders in observing nocturnal migrations and elusive species like Whip-poor-wills and owls, while aiding conservation efforts such as roost counts.

A companion app, Wild Vision, provides real-time streaming, photo/video capture, remote control, and firmware updates for compatible devices on Android and iOS.
