Listen to Article

Henry Repeating Arms has introduced a limited-edition Sesquicentennial Rifle based on its Golden Boy platform to commemorate the Massachusetts Rifle Association’s (MRA) 150th anniversary. The MRA, founded in 1875 by Civil War veterans, is the oldest continuously operating gun club in the U.S., with its Walnut Hill range in Woburn, Massachusetts, serving as a key site for firearms development and competitive shooting. Henry is donating a portion of each sale to support the MRA’s mission of promoting safe shooting sports.

The rifle, chambered in .22 S/L/LR with a blued 20-inch octagon barrel and American walnut stock, features engravings honoring the MRA’s history. Priced at $690, it is available for pre-order with an estimated 90-day production lead time and must ship to a federally licensed dealer. Anthony, founder and CEO of Henry Repeating Arms, highlighted Walnut Hill’s significance, while MRA Director Michael DuBois emphasized the club’s enduring legacy in marksmanship.
