Generally, I wear one of two types of shoes when I go fishing: either deck boots if the weather isn’t too hot or flip-flops. While sneakers would be a better choice oftentimes on the water, I have ruined many a pair over the years. Be it blood and slime making the shoes look like I walked through a crime scene, or more often the smell that the sneakers pick up from the fishing trip making them unwearable. So when Strike Footwear reached out earlier this year about reviewing their Bluefin Lace Sneaker, I had my doubts about how it would hold up. Well, it’s been six months and many miles since then in these sneakers, so let’s see how they’ve held up.
