A hunter new to saddle hunting this season reported being pleased after more than a month using the Latitude Profile Platform Gen 2 in REG size. The 3.5-pound platform with a 300-pound limit proved stable for a 160-pound user whether standing centered or on one edge and attached easily via cam buckle to trees of different sizes and leans.

Made of die-cast 6061-T6 aluminum with steel fixtures it stayed quiet under rubber-soled boots though metal contact can produce a ring. Priced at 209.99 dollars the unit offers an angled front to reduce foot fatigue on sits exceeding four hours and can be adjusted while hung.

The reviewer recommended it for those entering or upgrading saddle hunting but noted the premium cost and advised removing it after each hunt plus using lubricant if hinges squeak.
