September’s turn signals the start of my favorite time of year. As a native Ohioan, I find the Buckeye State at its best in September, October, and November. The temperature begins to chill, and the leaves turn color, all set to the melodious sound of a whistle on the gridiron. But for many Midwesterners like me, the coming of fall represents something more: the beginning of hunting season.
