Kodiak Island hunter Ty Fosbenner collaborated with Mark Boardman and Ryan Muckenhirn on a custom .338 Federal rifle built from high-end parts. The design targeted Sitka blacktail hunts in thick brush at short distances and the chance of a brown bear encounter. The completed gun fits those conditions while remaining useful for other hunting.
