The Wingshooter is one of Irish Setter’s flagship boots, originally debuting back in 1950 by the Red Wing Shoe Company. The boot’s reddish-orange leather color earned it the name “Irish Setter” due to its similarity to the bird dog breed’s reddish coat. Irish Setter eventually became its own brand under the Red Wing Shoe Company, and the Wingshooter’s popularity continues today. Now, that same boot is benefiting conservation.
