NBC News recently profiled Democratic candidates who say they back the Second Amendment while also backing extra firearm limits, days before Election Day.

Wisconsin candidate Mitchell Berman said he grew up hunting and respects the Second Amendment. He also favors universal background checks, safe storage rules that hold owners accountable, red flag laws, and a ban on high capacity magazines, describing those as steps that cut gun violence without violating the amendment. Those positions do not appear on his campaign website.

South Texas congressional candidate Bobby Pulido said he would not vote for any ban because that is lazy legislating, yet he still supports smarter gun legislation without saying what that would include.
